The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) declared on Monday the upcoming 20th India Innovation Summit, titled “Innoverge 2024,” centered on the theme “India@100: Building for a Resilient, Sustainable, and Inclusive India.” The event is slated to occur at the Hotel Shangri-La in Bengaluru from September 4 to 6.
This year’s summit, partnered with the Government of Karnataka, aims to establish an innovation ecosystem critical for India’s advancement by 2047. Prominent figures from Karnataka’s Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology and Science and Technology, as well as the Large and Medium Scale Industries and Infrastructure Development, will contribute to the discussions.
“Innoverge 2024 seeks to expand upon previous successes by including an innovation showcase at the Innoverge 2024 exhibition, where attendees can explore demonstrations of leading innovations across multiple sectors,” CII stated.
Kris Gopalakrishnan, mentor for CII India Innoverge 2024, highlighted, “Innoverge 2024 serves as an optimal platform to discuss business transformation, technology adoption, and innovation-driven value creation. It will focus on involving critical stakeholders and highlighting emerging areas to chart a future of economic growth, social equality, and environmental stewardship.”
CII emphasized that the summit will unite vital elements of a successful innovation network—including universities, large corporations, startups, policymakers, and collaborative efforts—stressing the crucial role of institutions and accelerators from emerging regions in driving inclusive and scalable innovation.
The three-day summit will feature thought leadership across ten sectors including Manufacturing and Industry 4.0, Mobility, Semiconductors, Tourism, Healthcare, Energy Transition, Education, Space, Agriculture, and Retail, addressed by CEOs, industry experts, and distinguished academics.
