Exploring Regulatory Complexities: Insights from the 1st US-India Innovation Handshake Panel

The inaugural US-India Innovation Handshake’s panel, ‘Addressing Regulatory Complexities,’ delved into vital aspects concerning Indian startups and regulatory compliance. Co-hosted by the US-India Business Council, Confederation of Indian Industry, and DPIIT, the event initiated an engaging dialogue, offering insights into the challenges and opportunities within India’s regulatory landscape.

Following the discussion, the US-IBC shared, “An engaging dialogue that brought forth valuable perspectives on the challenges and opportunities within the regulatory landscape.”

In December, the Union Cabinet approved a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between India and the US, aimed at fostering innovation ecosystems through an ‘Innovation Handshake.’ This MoU, focused on Critical & Emerging Technologies (CET), aims to bolster cooperation between the two nations in the realm of deep tech startups.

The initiative has been relaunched with a strategic focus on various areas, including the introduction of a new Working Group on Talent, Innovation, and Inclusive Growth (TIIG).
