Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH) is gearing up to host the second edition of IInvenTiv-2024, a flagship event by the Ministry of Education, taking place on January 19th and 20th, 2024. This event stands as a vital platform for showcasing the extensive impact of research and innovation within India’s leading higher education institutions. The core objective of IInvenTiv-2024 is to foster collaborative opportunities among state universities, institutions, and industries, bolstering the development and dissemination of grassroots innovations.
The upcoming IInvenTiv-2024 will put the spotlight on advancements in five critical domains: Affordable Healthcare, Agriculture & Food Processing, Sustainable Technologies (encompassing Climate Change, E-mobility, Clean Energy), Defence and Space, and Industry 4.0. This cooperative endeavor will curate a showcase featuring the top 120 innovations from 53 participating technical institutions nationwide.
The event’s first day will provide exclusive access to industry participants, enabling them to actively engage with cutting-edge innovations. On the second day, the event will open to the public, offering a unique opportunity for a broader audience to experience the latest technological breakthroughs.
In addition to the R&D exhibition, IInvenTiv-2024 seeks to serve as a dynamic platform for fostering collaboration between academia and industry, propelling technological advancements that address real-world challenges. The event is expected to draw over 2000 industry participants and will feature dedicated one-hour panel discussions for each domain, convening experts and thought leaders to delve into the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of these vital sectors.
