IInvenTiv-2024, India’s leading R&D innovation fair hosted by higher education institutions, concluded its second edition at the esteemed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Hyderabad. An initiative of the Ministry of Education, this event brought together industry leaders and academia in an unprecedented way.
The event’s highlight was the signing of a Technology Transfer agreement between IIT Hyderabad and E-Spin Nanotech, marking a major milestone. This partnership aims to commercialize Cellulose-based Nanofiber Feminine Hygiene Products, addressing environmental and health concerns. The agreement was inked on January 19, 2024, by Prof. B.S. Murty, Director, IIT Hyderabad, and Dr. Sandip Patil, Director, E-Spin Nanotech.
The partnership aligns with India’s Industry 4.0 vision, emphasizing innovation and research’s crucial role. IInvenTiv-2024 also hosted insightful panel discussions on various domains, promoting knowledge exchange and collaborative dialogues among experts.
Affordable Healthcare, Agriculture & Food Processing, Defense & Space, Industry 4.0, and Sustainable Technologies were some of the areas explored. These discussions aimed to drive advancements in these sectors and support India’s growth.
