IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad Lead in Accenture Innovation Challenge

IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad students secured top honors in the Accenture Innovation Challenge, a 3.5-month competition focused on technology-driven solutions for real-world issues. Over 182,000 students from 6,600+ colleges participated, with 37% being women.

Raghavan Iyer, Senior Managing Director at Accenture, emphasized the potential of advanced technologies to address societal challenges. The challenge theme, ‘Reinvent businesses and accelerate change with the power of technology,’ prompted participants to leverage emerging technologies for innovative solutions.

Team Svar from IIT Delhi won in the technology category, developing an AI-based mobile app for personalized speech therapy. In the business school track, the all-women TARS team from IIM Ahmedabad created a virtual stylist app, promoting sustainability and responsible consumption through AI, machine learning, and digital twin technology.

Accenture aims to inspire technology-led creative thinking to address real-world problems with affordable and scalable solutions.
