IIT Madras Aims to Foster 100 New Start-ups in the Upcoming Year

IIT Madras has set its sights on incubating a minimum of 100 start-ups spanning diverse sectors in the year ahead.

The Director of IIT Madras, V. Kamakoti, expressed, “In 2024, we have ambitious plans to kickstart 100 start-ups. We are also witnessing the emergence of fascinating technologies from our incubated start-ups like Hyperloop, ePlane, Agnikul Cosmos, and Mindgrove Technologies. These ventures are poised to introduce products of significant national relevance.”

Renowned as one of India’s premier deep-tech start-up hubs, the IIT Madras Incubation Cell (IITMIC) serves as the central body for nurturing, facilitating, and supervising a range of innovative projects and entrepreneurial endeavors.
