The primary objective is to harness innovative technologies developed by Indian startups, MSMEs, innovators, and entrepreneurs to enhance operational efficiency and safety across the Indian Railways network. The Ministry of Railways is committed to addressing quality, reliability, and maintainability challenges. Importantly, under this policy, the Startup/MSME/Innovator/Entrepreneur retains exclusive ownership of the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) generated during the project.
