Start-ups stand to receive grants of up to Rs 25 crore for research and development efforts. The scheme, under the iDEX framework, targets the development of 30 deep-tech technologies over the next few years, reinforcing India’s defence capabilities. Additionally, DefConnect 2024 featured the launch of DISC 11 and initiatives to foster investment in defence start-ups, signaling India’s commitment to innovation and self-reliance in defence production.
