LTIMindtree has partnered with IBM to advance the quantum innovation ecosystem, becoming the first Indian Global System Integrator (GSI) to join the IBM Quantum Network. This collaboration expands LTIMindtree’s platinum partner status with IBM, granting access to IBM’s quantum computing systems, software, and expertise. In addition to leveraging IBM resources, LTIMindtree will collaborate with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras on joint quantum research and workforce development initiatives. Aan Chauhan, LTIMindtree’s Chief Technology Officer, emphasized the potential of quantum computing to solve complex problems efficiently. Scott Crowder, Vice President of IBM Quantum Adoption and Business Development, expressed excitement about the partnership’s prospects and highlighted plans for long-term projects, workshops, and research grants to nurture quantum computing professionals and researchers.
