The US-India Business Council has formalized a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Karnataka Innovation and Technology Society (KITS) to bolster collaboration across key industry sectors. In conjunction, the US Chamber of Commerce’s US-IBC has announced its official partnership with the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) during the ongoing India-USA Tech Conclave on November 29 and 30 at Bangalore Palace.
This marks the second consecutive year of collaboration with the Government of Karnataka for BTS, according to a USIBC press release. The MoU between US-IBC and KITS aims to enhance engagement, particularly in information technology, biotechnology, and electronics. Priyank Kharge, Minister for Information Technology and Biotechnology, Rural Development, and Panchayat Raj, highlighted the importance of deepening ties to address common challenges, foster collaboration, and position Karnataka as an attractive investment destination for American companies. The India-USA Tech Conclave serves as a global hub, bringing together leaders to explore opportunities for collaboration, investment, and address policy issues between Indian and American innovation ecosystems.
