Garuda Aerospace, a leading Indian drone company, recently opened the nation’s first exclusive drone showroom in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The inauguration was led by Dr. R Velraj, Vice Chancellor of Anna University, alongside Mr. Agnishwar Jayaprakash, CEO of Garuda Aerospace.
This innovative showroom serves as a hub for drone enthusiasts and professionals, offering a diverse array of drones suitable for various purposes such as FPV (First Person View), videography, surveillance, agriculture, and more. It also features state-of-the-art interactive drone simulators with VR goggles for an immersive flying experience, and a Live LED wall for booking drone services.
The opening of this showroom is part of Garuda Aerospace’s strategy to enhance the accessibility of drone technology in India, with plans to open additional showrooms in 20 major cities within the next 6-8 months. Dr. R Velraj praised Garuda Aerospace for its pioneering role in the drone industry and mentioned Anna University’s plans to develop a dedicated drone curriculum to support the industry’s growing needs.
Agnishwar Jayaprakash highlighted the significance of this launch, stating, “The opening of India’s first drone showroom marks a milestone for both Garuda Aerospace and the wider drone industry in India. We are dedicated to making drone technology accessible and practical for everyone.” He emphasized the showroom’s role in allowing consumers and businesses to explore and understand the potential of drones firsthand.
