Central to this mission is the IndiaAI Innovation Centre, which is spearheading research on Large Language Models (LLMs), Multimodal Models (LMMs), and domain-specific solutions for healthcare, education, and finance. Complementing this is the Digital India Bhashini initiative, offering AI-driven solutions in all 22 Scheduled Indian languages to foster digital inclusion.
In collaboration with Meta, the Srijan Centre for Generative AI has been established at IIT Jodhpur, while the YuvAi Initiative, in partnership with AICTE, focuses on equipping young professionals with AI expertise. Programs like FutureSkills Prime and the Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme further enhance reskilling and research opportunities.
To decentralize AI education, IndiaAI will establish Data and AI Labs in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, promoting equitable access to AI learning. These efforts reflect India’s vision of a responsible and robust AI ecosystem, positioning the country as a leader in global tech innovation.
