Amazon Web Services (AWS) revealed on Friday that seven Indian generative AI startups have been selected for its prestigious global Generative AI Accelerator program. The startups—Convrse, House of Models, Neural Garage, Orbo.ai, Phot.ai, Unscript AI, and Zocket—are part of an elite group of 80 companies chosen globally by AWS for their innovative applications of AI and their potential for international growth.
This selection places India at the forefront in the Asia-Pacific region, marking it as the country with the highest number of startups chosen for this program. These startups will participate in the AWS Generative AI Accelerator, a part of AWS’s $230 million initiative aimed at fostering the development of AI-driven applications globally.
Participants in the program will benefit from a comprehensive suite of AWS resources. This includes AWS credits and access to cutting-edge technologies like AWS Trainium and AWS Inferentia2—energy-efficient AI chips designed to deliver high performance at a reduced cost. Additionally, the startups will receive mentorship and educational support to enhance their use of AI and machine learning technologies, further accelerating their growth and innovation capabilities.
