Startup Mahakumbh 2025 Kicks Off in Delhi

Delhi is set to host Startup Mahakumbh 2025, one of the world’s largest gatherings of innovation and entrepreneurship. Over three action-packed days at Bharat Mandapam, the event will bring together 3,000+ startups, 1,000+ investors and incubators, and 10,000+ delegates from 50+ countries.

A major highlight will be the showcase of 30 groundbreaking space startups specializing in business-to-business solutions, precision manufacturing, defence, and space tech—underscoring India’s growing dominance in deep-tech innovation.

The Government e-Marketplace (GeM) pavilion will offer startups a unique opportunity to connect with government buyers and explore market-fit prospects. Attendees can also interact with GeMAI, a virtual chatbot providing insights into the GeM portal. MoS Commerce Jitin Prasada will deliver a keynote address at the inaugural ceremony.

This year, Startup Mahakumbh will also highlight tribal entrepreneurship, featuring 45+ startups, including those incubated at IIM-Calcutta, IIM-Kashipur, and IIT-Bhilai.

Archana Jahagirdar, founder of Rukam Capital and an event committee member, lauded the government’s role in supporting Viksit Bharat 2047, calling the event the “World’s Biggest Showcase of Innovation.” Sanjeev Bikhchandani, co-founder of Info Edge, emphasized the startup ecosystem’s need for such global forums to drive best practices, foster innovation, and build businesses that can transform not just India but the world.
