Airties, a prominent provider of managed Wi-Fi solutions for broadband service providers, has established its first office in India—a cutting-edge R&D center in Bangalore. This new facility is dedicated to advancing the company’s AI, cloud, and DevOps technologies, specifically for Smart Wi-Fi applications. The center, which complements Airties’ global presence with offices in Paris, Belgium, Turkey, and the United States, is set to employ around 100 specialized software engineers to enhance the Airties Cloud management platform.
The inauguration of the Bangalore office was celebrated with a ceremony attended by key figures including Airties’ CEO Metin Taskin, CTO Sachin Chickballapur, Executive Vice President of Engineering Mujdat Pakkan, and General Manager in India, Siddharth Das. Local dignitaries were also present, including Dr. Ashwath Narayan C. N., a noted figure in Karnataka’s legislative and technology sectors.
Metin Taskin highlighted the strategic importance of the new center, aiming to harness India’s vast talent pool in AI, data science, and cloud-native software development to elevate broadband experiences globally. The center will work closely with Airties’ international teams and customers to develop innovative Wi-Fi solutions that optimize home and business networks. The company’s solutions include Airties Edge and Airties Cloud, which enhance Wi-Fi connectivity and network management, and Airties Orbit, a platform that supports continuous test automation for broadband service providers.
This initiative not only strengthens Airties’ global footprint but also underscores its commitment to leading the charge in broadband technology innovation, backed by numerous industry accolades for its solutions.
