The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has partnered with Moglix, Asia’s leading B2B e-commerce platform, to launch a manufacturing incubation initiative aimed at empowering growth-phase startups in India. This collaboration seeks to provide startups with the resources, tools, and opportunities needed to accelerate their development and foster innovation in the manufacturing sector.
Over 25 emerging companies from sectors like chemicals, automotive, infrastructure, and green energy will participate in a 12-month program under this initiative. Backed by DPIIT, the program will leverage the Startup India network to facilitate resource-sharing, enable adoption of best practices, and expand its reach nationwide.
Aligned with the Make in India mission, this initiative highlights DPIIT’s commitment to fostering innovation and supporting the manufacturing sector’s growth. It aims to enable startups to create globally competitive products, attract investment opportunities, and contribute to increasing manufacturing’s share in India’s GDP while expanding export capabilities.
