Tech Mahindra, in partnership with IBM, launched a new Synergy Lounge in Singapore on Friday, aiming to boost digital transformation for businesses across the Asia Pacific. This collaboration hub is situated on Tech Mahindra’s campus and is designed to support organizations in leveraging modern technologies such as AI, Intelligent Automation, Hybrid Cloud, 5G, Edge Computing, and Cybersecurity to drive value and innovation.
The strategies developed in this Synergy Lounge will be exchanged with Tech Mahindra’s existing lounge in Bengaluru and its Centres of Excellence to foster co-creation and joint development of distinctive solutions for enterprises. Structured around the Hex-I framework, which encompasses six phases from ignition to implementation, the lounge is divided into various experience zones. Each zone is dedicated to showcasing how different technologies can address complex business challenges, enhance customer service, optimize operations, and improve employee productivity.
Kunal Purohit, Tech Mahindra’s Chief Digital Services Officer, emphasized the company’s commitment to integrating AI across business processes and making it widely accessible. The lounge is envisioned as a space for collaborative innovation, particularly in AI and next-generation technologies.
The facility invites global enterprises to collaborate on solution exploration, prototype testing, and proof of value (PoV) initiatives aimed at fostering innovation across industries including telecommunications, media, automotive, manufacturing, and healthcare, among others.
Chetan Krishnamurthy, IBM’s Vice President for Ecosystem and Digital Sales in Asia Pacific, highlighted the lounge’s role in enhancing productivity and competitiveness for APAC companies by merging the right mix of talent, technology, and best practices.
A specialized team will also operate from the lounge to enhance the partnership between Tech Mahindra and IBM, creating tailored solutions that leverage the strengths of both companies to spearhead technological progress in the region. The initiative reflects Tech Mahindra’s dedication to transforming businesses with cutting-edge technology solutions, as evidenced by their pioneering work in generative AI, which has significantly boosted productivity and cost efficiency.
