YEIDA has unveiled an ambitious plan to develop a massive 10,500-hectare industrial hub along the Yamuna Expressway. This strategic move is set to bolster the region’s industrial landscape and drive economic growth.
Key highlights include the creation of four Special Economic Zones (SEZs), dedicated to specific industries such as electric vehicles, semiconductors, and data centers. The master plan prioritizes environmental sustainability, with 35% of the land allocated for green use.
The project envisions accommodating 3.9 million people, emphasizing high living standards and efficient urban planning. In-principle approval has been granted for a significant investment by Tarq Semiconductors Private Limited, promising employment opportunities and revenue generation.
YEIDA’s holistic approach extends to logistics, heritage preservation, and various projects across the region. The plan emphasizes green urban development, affordable housing, integrated transport, and world-class infrastructure.
With a commitment to sustainability, innovation, and inclusive development, this project aims to transform the area into a dynamic and globally competitive urban center.
