Zen Technologies Unveils New Made-in-India Anti-Drone and Defense Solutions

Zen Technologies, a leader in anti-drone and defense training solutions, has introduced four groundbreaking products through its Pune-based subsidiary, AI Turing Technologies. These innovations—Hawkeye, Barbarik-URCWS, Prahasta, and Sthir Stab 640—are designed to boost the tactical capabilities and efficiency of defense forces.

Hawkeye Hawkeye is an advanced anti-drone system camera featuring multiple sensor detection modules. It provides comprehensive, all-weather drone tracking capabilities up to 15 km, ensuring continuous threat detection and enhanced security.

Barbarik – URCWS The Barbarik – URCWS is the world’s lightest remote-controlled weapon station, offering precise targeting for calibers from 5.56mm to 7.62mm. Suitable for ground vehicles and naval vessels, it enhances battlefield effectiveness while reducing personnel risk. Successful firing trials at Infantry School Mhow and Armoured School Ahmednagar have demonstrated its impressive performance.

Prahasta Prahasta is an innovative automated quadruped that uses LIDAR and reinforcement learning for real-time 3D terrain mapping. This facilitates superior mission planning, navigation, and threat assessment. Capable of being armed with various caliber weapons, Prahasta is an essential asset for commando operations like the 26/11 counter-insurgency missions.

Sthir Stab 640 The Sthir Stab 640 is a robust stabilized sight for armoured vehicles, ICVs, and boats. Equipped with an intelligent fiber optic gyro-stabilized system, it offers exceptional situational awareness with automatic search and tracking capabilities. The sight is compatible with weapon mounts of 7.62mm, 12.7mm, 20mm, and 30mm calibers.

Zen Technologies’ Chairman and Managing Director, Ashok Atluri, emphasized the importance of these innovations, stating, “These products signify a major leap in autonomous defense operations. Their launch underscores the necessity of integrating advanced robotics into combat and reconnaissance missions. Our self-funded products allow Zen to offer a broader range of cutting-edge technologies to current and potential clients.”
